An EP about the Alps and Nostalgia.... ❄

<========]==o

PLEASE, READ BEFORE YOU LISTEN OR DOWNLOAD:

This is not a new EP. I recorded these tracks more than one year ago as IL GENERALE INVERNO, for the "Alpestre" split with esteemed friend and composer Burgen (burgen.bandcamp.com).

Listening to them today, I find out how much this bunch of songs are close to folky Sidereal Fortress stuff than to what I did later as Il Generale Inverno (ilgeneraleinverno.bandcamp.com).
This is the reason why I finally decided to rebrand my part of "ALPESTRE" with my main monicker. I obviously still enjoy this stuff, but I feel it like an actual Sidereal Fortress EP.

The version I'm uploading here is exactly the same as pressed on the DungeonIt Collective's CD edtion only (dungeonit.bandcamp.com/album/alpestre-split), digitally remastered by the Argesh Studio in Florence, Italy.
